Makeup is key when it comes to any photo or video shoot; however, the way to apply camera-ready makeup is very different from that of our daily routine. Check out these basics!
Tip 1- Prep and Prime your skin as this evens out skin tone in order for foundation application to be flawless, smooth, and more natural.
Tip 2- Use matte as a texture for everything. No sparkle or shimmer in order to avoid more light being reflected on your face from the flash of the camera.
Tip 3- Apply makeup in natural light. Many times we apply our makeup indoors in artificial light and once we step out we wonder what went wrong! Natural light is always the best setting for a perfect makeup application.
Tip 4- Contour your skin with a warm bronzing powder, around 2 shades darker than your natural skin tone as this will give dimension and enhance the features of your face.
Tip 5- Once you have finished your lips, eyes and face (depending on how strong or light you want your makeup to be), keep a loose or blot powder close by for touch ups and a nice finish while keeping your make up set in place!
