It seems like the older the more our eyes look like they're shrinking. Nothing looks more youthful than big bright eyes, so we found a few tricks to make them appear larger.
Line your lower waterline with a nude color like the Smashbox Always Sharp Waterproof Kôhl Liner in Bare.
Next, use NARS Summer 2016 Color Collection Topless Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow in the inner corner, the middle of your lid to make your eyes pop. Use this also right below the highest point of your eyebrow arch for a lift.
When applying your crease color, break the rules by applying your shadow above the crease rather than at your actual crease line. This will create a shadow that makes your eyes appear larger. I like to use a matte bronzer as a shadow to create this look. For a more dramatic effect use a chocolate brown shadow but remember to blend it out.
Using a black liner all over can sometimes make your eyes appear smaller. Instead use a liner only on the outer edges. Use a pencil or eyeshadow, something that you can blend out. Make a wing at the end and also line the bottom outer corner as well. Blend this out so you don’t have a harsh black line.
Finally, curl your lashes and apply a few coats of mascara. If you want to take it to the next level use a set of fake lashes. Go for a style that’s shorter in the inner corner and longer at the edges.
