An absolute must-have in every makeup bag is mascara. It is the one product most women will not go without! This one simple product can go such a long way. In order to perfect those lashes, keep the following tips in mind: 

1: With plenty of mascara options in the market, choose a formula that works best for you! Short lashes need a lengthening mascara, while thin lashes would require more of a thickening formula. All makeup counters will offer their options and show you the different wands and how they work, so choose wisely! Also, keep in mind that you can have extra fun with color choices of mascara too! 
 
2: Start with an eye lash curler; it gives the lashes an extra lift and curl, and makes your eyes look bigger. 

3: With your mascara wand, begin to apply mascara from top to bottom while your eyes are looking downward. Then, look straight towards your mirror and start to apply mascara beginning on the lash line and working your way to the tip of the lash. Start from the center of the eye and slowly work your way to the other corner.

4: As a final touch, apply the last coat of mascara in an outward motion to give you a hot cat-eye finish!
