There is nothing quite as fun as the suspense of a Versace show. Donatella is a master of the build-up, teasing us with behind the scenes Instagram updates and always with a sense of humor, even including her Jack Russell Audrey in the decision making process.
At the show, we were introduced to the new shoe: a black tread platform sandal with skyscraper block heels and stud details, not to mention a Versace-style leather parka modeled by show favorite Irina Shayk. In a collection dedicated to "women taking chances", Donatella sent out a tribe of modern day glamazons including Naomi Campbell and Gigi Hadid. They wore dresses made of ultra light nylon that draped around the body and floated off in long trains like parachutes. Mini dresses made of mesh were embroidered with crystals in fresh summer shades of green and purple.
