The Cushnie Et Ochs models at the Spring 2015 show almost looked like they came from the future. Their skin was perfect with a slight glow and a very dramatic overdrawn cat eye. Their hair was very neatly gelled back in a neat bun or pony tail, making them look sharp.
Here are a few steps to achieve this look:
Face
For this look a velvety powder finish would look best. Start off with Estee Lauder Double Wear Concealer in a warm shade such as Warm Medium. Next, use MAC's Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation NC30, which is the most popular shade so if you are light to medium this shade will work for you, otherwise go higher or lower, NC's are perfect for complexions with a gold undertone. Using a soft color like Laura Mercier's Second Skin Cheek Color in Honey Mocha start off at your hairline barely above the hollows of your cheek bone. Just one swipe on each side is ideal as this is a very soft look. Using a clean brush, use MAC's Mineralize Skin Finish in Soft and Gentle above your cheek toward the outer edge of your eye. This should be the area that "comes out" the most, make sure not to put on the under-eye or areas that you don't want to accentuate.
Eyes
This look definitely needs a primer to keep everything in place. Use Laura Mercier's Eye Basic's in Buff all over the eye and until the brow bone. Make sure to blend this out and then wait a few seconds for it to dry. Using Bobbi Brown's Long Wear Gel Liner in Black Ink and a flat liner brush, you are ready for the eyes. For this dramatic look start off with the outside lines and then start coloring in, you have to move fast with this since once it dries it will be difficult to remove.
Even the biggest makeup pros have difficulty making perfectly even winged eyes so tare a square edge of toilet paper and fold it in half to make a triangle. Set this at the corner of your eye and start coloring in your wing, then remove it to get a perfect line and repeat this on the other side. Remember, this is a runway look and has been overly drawn to create more of an effect but for every day perhaps cut this liner in half to make it more suitable.
In the inner corner and right below your lash line, highlight your eyes using Shimmer Wash Eyeshadow by Bobby Brown in Champagne. This liner look needs practice so if you plan on wearing it to a special night out on the weekend, try and practice it daily during the week so that end up with the best results on the day of.
Also remember to make sure to use a liner style that suits your eye shape, only follow this trend if it is suitable for your eyes, otherwise opt for a more natural thin cat eye. This look needs to be worn with a very bare face since the liner is the main focus. Color in your brows to make them look bold using Laura Mercier's Brow Definer in Warm. Start at the ends and work your way to the start of the brow. Remove any excess using a brow brush by combing up.
Lips
Using concealer or a foundation, dab a little bit on your lips to make them look paler than usual and add a soft lipstick shade such as Tom Ford Lip Color in Rory.
Hair
Slick your hair back using Oribe Gel Serum. This has gold flecks in it and will give you a super shiny sleek look. Use it on wet hair if you don't have enough time to blow-dry it since perhaps you spent way too much time perfecting your eyeliner, and justly so!
Voila! You're ready to rock it with the right outfit.
