The most commonly asked question when you think of evening hair can be answered depending on a few factors. First off, the texture of your hair is the most important, does your hair frizz easily and is your wedding in a humid summer month? If so, you should probably put your hair up. Of course, your hair also needs to go with the neckline and style of your dress and should complement your overall look. Here are a few beauty bridal hair trends we have been seeing.
Hair down with soft waves
Traditionally, most brides wear their hair in a chignon since it is a formal occasion. Lately, however, more and more brides are opting for a more laid back, modern and natural look by simply leaving their hair down, like they would on a regular night out. This look can be perfected by perhaps adding a few extensions to add volume and keep your hair from looking flat towards the end of the evening. Explain the texture of your hair to your hair dresser to make sure he uses the correct products on your hair. Whether your hair is fine or super thick, Oribe hair products provide both options in a thickening spray. Less is more with this look, too much product will weigh your hair down making it look flat, so keep that in mind when setting.

Braids
Whether it's a soft braid on the side, on the crown or a fishtail, this is a beautiful hair trend to be used by the bride - or even her bridesmaids and flower girls. This soft romantic look is natural like the hair down look but with a little less fuss since hair is out of the way. Flowers can even be added or a ribbon to make this even more feminine. It's important to make this look unfinished and wispy while still keeping it in place so use a gentle spray such as Frederick Fekkai's Sheer Hold Hairspray.
Updo
This look is probably the easiest since hair is completely out of your face and can be kept in place with many bobby pins and a cult favorite, L’Oreal's Elnett Extra Long Hold Volume. Whether it's a dramatic high bun or a soft low bun, try this hair style out for a test run to make sure it's exactly what you want. An origami style is also a beautiful look which would accentuate the beauty of an open back dress.
Up or down, or maybe half up, whatever you decide to go with, keep your hair texture, length and what your future husband usually prefers in mind!
