With Hollywood starlet Diane Kruger sitting front row as well as style icon Olivia Palermo, Elie Saab's spring/summer show entitled "Standing On Stardust" got off to a stellar start. It was a marked change in direction for the brand that is top of its red-carpet-game with an altogether youthful and playful mood. From the glitter stardust catwalk, to the sparkly fringing on peep toe boots, or the gold glitter platform sandals, this show felt very disco diva. Albeit elegant. The print of the season? Oversized multicolored geometric stars on everything from a nipped-in at the waist mini shift dress to an evening gown that was short in the front and trailed out at the back. There were stars on sporty caps that added an urban cool to looks and chic structured bags. Gigi Hadid stole the show in a gold and black glitter tuxedo jacket and dress.
