Why are women who can afford an outrageously expensive jar of moisturizer buying the Mario Badescu caviar night cream? If you are already looking him up on the internet, you are on the right track! I have just let you in on a Hollywood secret. Wondering why you have never heard of this brand? Mario Badescu believes that all women should be able to afford great skin care and has kept his prices low by cutting out advertising. Instead, his products are sold by word of mouth. 

I first heard of his product line when I complained to a fellow makeup artist about an embarrassing break out I had right before a big event. She told me about Mario Badescu's drying lotion and how his products are botanically based. I was so curious to try, I ended up buying one of his starter kits that included the drying lotion. I love using these kits because I get to try out an entire line before actually making the full commitment of buying an entire tube of something I may not end up liking. 
 
The kit included an enzyme wash that ended up being my favorite. This mint colored cleanser has such a gentle and refreshing scent to it, I found myself hooked and wanting to use it every morning. I followed this with the moisturizing sunscreen that has a yellowish tone to it, which is great because I hate that white film most sunscreens leave on my olive complexion. I still keep the drying lotion for emergency break out situations. Last but not least, my favorite product, the facial spray made with aloe, herbs and rosewater. This spray just makes me feel like I'm at the spa. I carry it around in my purse and take it out when I'm feeling a little run down from a busy day and it gives me this radiant glow. It doesn't ruin your makeup instead it gives you a nice pick me up, plus, It is great for dry skin because it hydrates instantly. 
 
The more I read and learn about this brand, the more I want to try everything. Some of my favorites include the caviar night cream and the strawberry face scrub, he even makes a Vitamin C serum. His toners, such as the glycolic acid toner are gentle enough to be used by a teenager but still have great results. I love that I can read his ingredients and they actually make sense. 
 
This brand pretty much has everything a girl can ask for - simple skin care at a great price and most importantly, results.
