You probably own a large collection of makeup products, but somehow always veer towards the same ones. When seasons change, it’s the perfect time to change and work on updating not only ourselves, but our outlook, wardrobe and also our make up.
Hopefully you still have your items from last fall, so take a look at them to make sure you have everything you need for the upcoming season. If you don’t and you’re anything like me, you'll love any excuse that gives you a chance to buy new make up!
Here is a checklist to make sure you are on the right track.
1- Dry weather calls for more moisture, so make sure you are stocked up on your favorite moisturizer. Indulge in a tub of LA MER’s The perfecting treatment, your skin will definitely thank you later.
2- Sadly your tan is fading, so make sure you are using the right shade of foundation. Also make sure to switch to a more hydrating version, like the Giorgio Armani Crema Nuda which has my favorite ingredient, hyaluronic acid.
3-Something fun to try is a new blush shade. Perhaps something matt and a little bit deeper than your coral shimmery summer one. Keep your favorite Fall lipstick in mind when choosing the right shade.
4-Update your shadow to also compliment your new blush and lips. You can get away with more makeup with cooler weather so experiment with a new quad like the CHANEL LES 4 OMBRES MULTI-EFFECT QUADRA EYESHADOW. They always have the best new shades for the season.
5- The quickest and easiest way to update your barely there makeup look from summer to fall, is with darker lips. Channel your inner Kat Von D by trying out a reddish burgundy shade from her line like the Studded Kiss Lipstick in Vampira.
