Diving into the world of precious jewels, Van Cleef & Arpels held an event at the Dubai Opera through a conversation with Vincent Meylan, the author of the house’s book “Treasures & Legends”.

Before taking a look at the legendary masterpieces worn by historical royalties, we would like to introduce you to the French journalist and historian, who has been writing about jewelry and history for 25 years. Author of many books about jewelry – such as “Boucheron, The Secret Archives” and “Mellerio, The Jeweller to The Queens” – he writes about precious and famous stones, style and clients of the past, highlighting the feelings and personal history involved in the creation of every exquisite piece.

Treasures and Legends counts the story of the most prestigious women and men who have ordered special pieces from Van Cleef & Arpels in more than a hundred years.
