Born from the Mediterranean Sea, Bulgari’s new perfume AQVA DIVINA is as precious as a pearl in a shell. It reveals a new powerful woman bursting with femininity, freedom and radiance in the olfactory universe of the luxury Italian brand.
Always aspiring to ultimate luxury, Bulgari worked with renowned perfumer Alberto Morillas. For this scent, Morillas goes back to his childhood memories on the Mediterranean shores and celebrations the sea, sun and summer.
Reminiscent of sun-kissed skin emerging from salty water, AQVA DIVINA perfume reflects freshness through the scent of salty bergamot and pink ginger. At the heart, the perfume is filled with soft notes of magnolia, fruits, amber, woods and beeswax. Resembling a sea-shell, the round bottle evokes femininity and softness, just like the perfume itself.
For the advertising campaign, famed American photographer Mark Segal shot Polish model Magdalena Frackowiak emerging from the sea with seduction and sensuality – evoking the preciousness of the fragrance.
“I wanted to evoke with AQVA DIVINA something very radiant, very sensual, a delicate feeling of a second skin. Like a woman’s perfume behind her neck,” said Alberto Morillas. “In order to transcribe the solar sensation of salty notes and sun oil, I chose very feminine elements which intensify the magic of the water power on the skin. A blend of freshness with Bergamot combined with more mysterious precious woods enhances the enveloping and sensual character of the fragrance.”
