This year, Dubai Watch Week will witness the participation of Jaeger-LeCoultre. Held from November 15th to November 19th under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the second edition of the region’s highly anticipated horology events features a showcase of the Maison’s rare heritage pieces.
As part of the intensive schedule, Jaeger-LeCoultre also hosted a special watchmaking class. In addition to all these exciting happenings, some of the house’s finest heritage pieces will be on display at the Dubai Mall until November 29th.
Among the showcased pieces, there will be the 1895 Grande Complication pocket watch with minute repeater, chronograph and perpetual calendar, the 1931 Reverso Lady in steel and 18-carat yellow gold, the 1931 Original Reverso created for British army officers in India for polo games, the 1932 Joaillerie Duoplan set with diamonds, the 1964 Joaillerie 101 Rivière set with 61 baguette-cut diamonds and featuring the world’s smallest mechanical movement since 1929, the circa 1900 Jewellery pendant watch in blue enamel case and rose-cut diamonds, the 1958 Chronometre Geophysic created for scientists, the 1950 first Memovex watch created for active men during the post-war boom period, the Vers 1910 Montre de Poche Extra Plate, the 1983 Atmos dite “de Jean Paul II”, the 1972 Atmos Verre Gravé and the 1996 Atmos Vendome.
