The holidays are a time when you might see relatives or friends you haven’t seen for a while. It’s also a time when we love taking pics and posting our picture-perfect families on social media. Basically, you want to look your best, but you also don’t want to show up for dinner at your mom’s house looking like you are ready to hit the clubs with your smokey eye look. A clean everyday look is great for the holidays. So let’s use a few extra steps and products to take it to the next level.
Using your daytime foundation, perhaps add another layer for some extra coverage. I’m a huge fan of the MAKE UP FOR EVER Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation. It literally looks like skin and comes in so many shades.
For the eyes, I skip the eyeliner but I use a really pretty shimmery shadow. NARS Duo Eyeshadow in All About Eve is really nice when you mix the shades together. In my crease, I just use a bronzer to warm it up.
For cheeks, I love a pink blush and it’s a nice change from the corals I have been using during summer. Bobbi Brown Brightening Brick in Pink lets you mix up some pretty shades, adding warmth and a nice glow.
A nice gloss always makes me feel pretty. Marc Jacobs Beauty Enamored Hi-Shine Gloss Lip Lacquer Lipgloss in COLOR 318 Pretty Thing is a nice rose shade that you can easily reapply without a mirror, after you indulge in a holiday meal.
