The models at the Giorgio Armani Privé Couture show were simply on fire tonight- figuratively of course! But it was the good kind of fire, the one that spreads along your clothes so flamboyantly that the ancient Greek Goddess of sun would be irrationally jealous.

Armani has always been one to include good-old tailored and structured silhouettes- something we all praise him for- but tonight seemed to be slightly different, as show-goers saw a myriad of one-shouldered designs and fluid dresses drowning in a sea of orange hues. Strong and structured shoulders were obviously a thing, making the suits more suitable for a soirée-kind-of-night than a formal event. Trousers erupted in a volcano of sequins and were lavishly paired with printed tops. Satin numbers made quite the statement, baring Armani’s celebration of effortlessly chic femininity. Gowns were so fluid that the models could have almost been mistaken for walking flames- granted, in the classiest way possible. The mood then shifted to calmer tones, as the fiery orange ensembles were downplayed in favor of salmon-colored floor grazing dresses. Think embroidered bottoms mixed-and-matched with black tops.

With the element of fire strongly present in his Spring 2017 collection, Giorgio Armani changed gears and Paris was undeniably welcoming!
