It was a gorgeous textured collection of tailoring, knits, fur and vinyl that Karl Lagerfeld presented for Fendi this morning in Milan. Playing with sporty motifs and traditional proportions, Lagerfeld mixed it all up. A grey herringbone dress that fell to the calf had an upbeat spin in the form of a black elasticised waist detail and neckline and the look was completed with siren-red vinyl over-the-knee boots. Reds were a recurring palette in the collection, worked into a clever oversized V-neck knit jumper worn as a dress with cut-away details. Kendall Jenner sported a pillar box red coat with exaggerated shoulders and deep red mink cuffs. Furs were aplenty with standout cropped bomber jacket with a floral imprint. For the color-shy, Lagerfeld showed exquisite barely-there chiffon nude dresses with balloon sleeves.
