Love, equality, courage, unity. Donatella Versace was sending out her power woman message loud and clear with these words emblazoned across sporty dresses and hot hued beanies, down sleeves and on the front of a sheer mesh top with floral appliqués. The messaging was as strong as the play on big bold colors and all empowering looks. The Versace woman is a glamazon and her clothes her armor. A black shaved mink fur coat was woven with neon orange strands, whilst a sheepskin jacket came in grey suede and neon yellow shearling. Floral prints were loud and in a shocking clash of color, the new power suiting included a stronger shoulder and tulle insert skirts. Amber Valletta returned to the catwalk, and a yellow chainmail dress slashed to the thigh will no doubt make it's red-carpet debut at the Oscars this weekend.
