The Grand Palais in Paris has always been a magical place that exudes opulence and this year, Cartier is bound to make it even more luxurious. Until July 2017, the jewelry house’s treasures will be on display in two new exhibitions – “Jardins” and “From the Great Mughlas to the Maharajas: Jewels from the Al Thani Collection”.

Until July 24th, “Jardins” will explore the art history of parks and gardens, as well as the history of the exhibitions that were based on the same theme. From the Cartier Collection, curator Laurent Le Bon has chosen 17 pieces that capture the natural world in a poetic way. Since nothing at Cartier exudes nature’s spirit more than the flower motif, the house’s fascination with it will bloom in exquisite jewelry pieces that awaken the senses.

In celebration of the Indian jewelry tradition, Cartier will also spread its jewelry expertise on the exhibition entitled “From the Great Mughals to the Maharajas: Jewels from the Al Thani Collection” – held until June 5th. More than 270 pieces will be on display to highlight the artistic sophistication of Mughal India and the exchange between India and Europe since the Renaissance. The house will unveil pieces from its Al Thani collection and the Cartier Collection.

Visit the Photo Gallery to take a closer look at the exquisite Cartier treasures that will take part in these two exhibitions.
