You're Making Me Blush

Blush is one of my favorite products. I love that you can go from “oh you look tired” to perky and doll-like in just one swipe. One of my favorites are the blush, bronzer and shimmer combos like the MAC Mineralize Blush in Warm Soul. After all, who has time to contour, highlight and then add blush. Just sounds like way too many products on the face.

I also love the Bobbi Brown Shimmer bricks. With that said, I recently came across some beautiful blush palettes and thought they were a great idea. I know when it came to eyeshadows, I felt like palettes were taking up too much space, but I have the opposite opinion on the blush ones. I think wearing the same blushes over and over can make you look a little dated. I am guilty of this, and sometimes, I realize that my lipstick and blush are so off that the whole combo just looks so wrong.

So by the time you read this I am hoping someone gets me one of these fun palettes, so I can remedy that dull dated look! As an artist, when you chose a makeup look, you also have to find a complimentary blush and lipstick, that’s why a palette is a great way to have options in one organized package. So, step up your blush game by stepping out of your comfort zone with blushes, and try something new like a flirty pink.
