Beauty begins with beautiful skin, but not everyone has the time to book facial appointments with a specialist, so we have broken down a few key steps to get your skin ready for summer and keep it looking fresh, all summer long!
Step 1, Exfoliate!
Plenty of beauty brands offer gentle exfoliators which are safe to use at home. Choose a product suitable for your skin type and exfoliate once or twice a week using gentle circular motions. Rinse off with lukewarm water and pat dry. This will brighten your skin, remove all dead cells, and is essential before tanning too.
Remember, don't over-exfoliate so you don't irritate your skin.
Step 2, Moisturize!
We cannot emphasize this enough! Skin care is an investment and pays off when done on a regular basis. There is a formula for all skin types. Be sure to moisturize morning and night. Take a small amount of moisturizer and rub it between your fingers first. Then gently massage the moisturizer onto your skin. Take a few minutes to do this as it also helps circulation which enhances and helps plump up your skin.
Step 3, SPF!
Sunscreen is a must all year round! Zinc Oxide is the magic ingredient in SPF. It protects skin from sun damage, helps heal damaged skin cells, pigmentation, and so much more.
Step 4, Your Lips!

Step 5, Light Weight Foundation
With plenty to choose from, all you need is a lightweight tinted moisturizer or foundation, depending on how much coverage you like.
Of course less is more, so be sure to choose a formula with a bit of sheen to keep skin looking and feeling fresh and healthy!
