This season is all about colors, even with eye makeup. From the runways to the collections launched by the most coveted beauty brands, colors are filling our summer. The question is: would we really want to use colors in eye makeup after we got used to all the neutral hues of the world? A fashionista would never say no to such an opportunity, so join us to discover how this trend was interpreted in so many ways that we are left wondering about the best one. Why? Because honestly, we are in love with all of them and the charm each look highlights.

Here are some tips for those who are brave enough to step out of their comfort zone and go colorful this season:

1 – Don’t just apply a bright eyeshadow to your lid. Make sure you blend the color to give it a more natural, subtle look.

2 – Your colorful lids should NOT match your shirt. Instead, use shades that complement the colors of your whole outfit.

3 – Do a smokey eye style using colors, or create a dimensional shadow in your crease with a color to show off your makeup skills.

4 – Keep your eyeshadow light for the day and layer it to make it darker for a glamorous night.

5 – Use a concealer before applying eyeshadow to make the color of your eyeshadow really pop.

6 – Play down the rest of your look, which means that your lips, cheeks and even your hair should look neutral.
