Pastoral elegance meets refined modernity in CHANEL’s Fall-Winter 2025/26 Haute Couture collection which comes as a poetic tribute to nature, movement and the legacy of Gabrielle Chanel. Set against a serene backdrop by designer Willo Perron in the Grand Palais’ Salon d’Honneur, the show channels the spirit of 31, rue Cambon, where Mademoiselle Chanel once embraced simplicity. This season, the CHANEL Creation Studio journeys to the Scottish moors and English countryside, drawing inspiration for a lineup rich in texture and natural hues like ecru, ivory, brown, green and black. And with menswear-inspired proportions, the French House offers freedom and ease, wrapped in luxurious winter staples.
When it comes to fabrics, tweed is reimagined with knitted flair: a white coatdress with embroidered braids, mohair suits in plum and green, and bouclé pieces mimicking sheepskin textures. As for feathers, they intermingle with tweed to mimic faux fur, appearing in tailored trouser suits, capes and cropped jackets. Along came wheat motifs, a cherished symbol of abundance for Gabrielle Chanel, flourishing across chiffon flounces, wedding dress necklines, jewel-buttons, and even chevron-shaped pant ensembles. Multicolored floral embroidery enhances the collection’s rustic romance – seen in an embroidered pea coat and satin crêpe pinafore dress.
With the bridal look closing the show, no more words are needed…
