The lyrics to the song “Barbie Girl” play over and over in your head as you watch Moschino’s Spring 2015 show. The first 10 looks were especially Barbie-like as the models came gleaming out in full pink outfits—some even carrying Barbie accessories like dumbbells, roller skates and clothes hangers—complete with platinum blond wigs.

The next set of looks was more colorful and felt like it was Barbie’s beach wardrobe. For Barbie, this collection was the total package. She had her entire summer wardrobe complete with exercise clothes, swimwear, towels and plenty of accessories—what more would she need to complete her Barbie Dream House?

A particularly quirky piece was the dress with a bikini print on it—should we expect street style stars to be sporting it next season? It is surely a realistic possibility. As much as Moschino has always been playful with fashion, the last few seasons have been to another level. Yet the designs have been working like a charm. Who would have thought after Moschino’s Fall 2014 fast food inspired show that we would see fashion icons roaming the streets with McDonalds-like logos all over their clothes? Don’t expect this season to be any different; as soon as the collection hits show floors, Barbie dolls will be wandering the streets.
