For Spring-Summer 2026, Schiaparelli’s Creative Director Daniel Roseberry brings a thoughtful, art-infused collection to life with “Dancer in the Dark”, presented at the Centre Pompidou. Shown in the same gallery that hosted the Brancusi retrospective, the setting reinforces Roseberry’s vision: ready-to-wear that inspires like art, not just entertains.
The collection explores discipline and elegance, highlighted by sharp, clean-lined jackets and fluid column gowns in black, bone white, and crimson red. Trompe l’oeil knitwear, drawn from Roseberry’s own sketches, pays tribute to Elsa Schiaparelli’s legacy, while a poetic tension between structure and surprise anchors the line. As for accessories, they echo the surreal, with soft versions of the Secret handbag inspired by Dali’s clocks, and sculptural shoes that begin as hand drawings. The result is a body of work that leans into couture-level creativity while remaining wearable.
Now six years into his tenure, Roseberry embraces Schiaparelli’s legacy of cultural dialogue and proves that fashion, even at its most practical, can still be deeply moving.
