For the Spring-Summer 2026 season, Hermès unveils “Free Rein”. A poetic tribute to empowered femininity and heritage craftsmanship, the collection is inspired by an antique Camargue saddle preserved in the Hermès archives and the free spirit of a modern horsewoman. It blends equestrian tradition with contemporary ease through unparalleled designs and styles.
Design elements like the curved troussequin backrest influence pieces detailed with hand-waxed leather, quilting, and signature hardware. Equestrian jackets and asymmetrical quilted skirts evoke movement, while dust coats cinched with harness belts echo tailoring and precision. Silhouettes flow with modular layering: silk carrés morph into tops or sculptural chokers, corset-inspired quilted dresses are paired with cycling shorts, and brassières ground draped garments patterned in vivid motifs. A maritime spirit surfaces in dungaree-style trousers and sheer knits, while the Méditerranée print adds fluid, painterly touches.
Each look expresses effortlessness and artistry, rooted in the Maison’s savoir-faire. With Free Rein, Hermès celebrates a legacy of women who move freely through landscapes shaped by nature - wild, bright, and unbound.
