In his debut collection as Artistic Director of Fashion Activities at CHANEL, Matthieu Blazy opens a poetic dialogue with Gabrielle Chanel herself. Titled "Une Conversation", the Spring-Summer 2026 collection explores the timeless romance and radical freedom at the heart of the House.

The journey begins with “Un Paradoxe”, where masculine tailoring, unraveled in shirts by Charvet, suit jackets, and British-inspired tweeds, are softened into sensual, feminine silhouettes. Then, in “Le Jour”, CHANEL’s daywear is reimagined through tactile nostalgia: cherished 2.55 bags, frayed tweeds, and abstract floral prints evoke elegance that feels both inherited and alive. As for the Art Deco lines, they echo CHANEL’s iconic packaging and Gabrielle’s life-work symbiosis. Finally, “L’Universel” pushes CHANEL forward. With soft blousons, multidimensional tweeds, hand-painted linings, and jewelry that glitter between fantasy and heritage, the collection celebrates global femininity.

Blazy doesn’t just revisit the House’s codes, he revitalizes them. The result is a collection that transcends time, gender, and place: not just about a CHANEL woman, but CHANEL women, everywhere.
