ZENITH celebrates its 160th anniversary by releasing two exclusive DEFY Zero G models in sapphire – one in celestial blue and one in fully transparent sapphire, each limited to just 10 pieces globally. The standout feature of the DEFY Zero G is its patented Gravity Control module. Miniaturized from marine chronometers and introduced in 2008, this gimbal-mounted system keeps the regulating organ horizontal, neutralizing gravity’s impact on precision in real time. Unlike traditional tourbillons, it doesn’t just average out errors, it eliminates them.

These latest 46mm editions are crafted entirely in sapphire, a near-diamond-hard material that showcases the re-engineered El Primero 8812S manual-winding movement. The openwork design reveals the gyroscopic module at 6 o’clock, rotating to maintain a level position. A lapis lazuli dial evokes a starlit sky, complemented by a 50-hour power reserve and blue alligator leather strap with a folding buckle.

With over 2,300 chronometry prizes to its name, ZENITH continues to defy convention and elevate Haute Horlogerie to new heights. Both editions are now available at select boutiques and authorized retailers.
