de Gournay proudly held its first Middle East artisan exhibition at The Cullinan, Marsa Al Arab, Dubai. The event brought the brand’s master artisans to the city, allowing guests to witness live demonstrations of the techniques that define de Gournay’s creations: meticulously painted wallpapers, delicate fabric embroidery, and hand-painted porcelains, all crafted entirely by hand.

The Cullinan already features several de Gournay installations, including custom deep-gold panels of the Deco Dawn design and a hand-embroidered wall showcasing Deco Palm motifs. The one-day exhibition welcomed valued clients, leading designers, and members of the press to experience the brand’s artistry first-hand.

“Dubai’s spirit of innovation and appreciation for design make it the perfect place to share our craft,” says Hannah Cecil Gurney, Director of de Gournay. This inaugural Dubai showcase reflects the brand’s commitment to heritage craftsmanship, celebrating handmade artistry while connecting tradition with the future of design in the region.
