With the new Histoire de Style collection: “Nom: Boucheron Prénom: Frédéric”, the Maison revisits the pioneering spirit of its founder, whose bold perspective reshaped High Jewelry. When Frédéric Boucheron opened his first Paris boutique in 1858, he chose to challenge convention rather than follow tradition. While others preserved established codes, he reinvented them, guided by a constant desire to look beyond boundaries. Nearly 168 years later, his name remains inseparable from Place Vendôme.

This year, Creative Director Claire Choisne set out to paint a portrait of a man who avoided the spotlight but left a lasting imprint through his creations. She designed four major High Jewelry pieces that retrace his story. As the first jeweler to settle on Place Vendôme, Frédéric Boucheron wrote a new chapter in Parisian jewelry, transforming living nature – imperfect and realistic – into a distinctive artistic language. The son of a draper, he approached adornment with a deep understanding of the body, always placing the individual at the center of his work.
