First introduced in 2021, Lucky Spring captures the Maison’s optimistic vision of life through delicate motifs drawn from nature’s awakening. Plum blossoms, lily-of-the-valley buds and tender foliage form a bucolic composition animated by vibrant ornamental stones. This year, the collection welcomes a butterfly – an emblem woven into the Maison’s heritage since 1906 – symbolizing lightness, transformation and vitality.

Crafted in yellow gold and adorned with blue agate, lapis lazuli, green agate and luminous white mother-of-pearl, the new creations radiate color and life. A long necklace, bracelet, clip, Between the Finger ring, and earrings join the collection, each outlined with Van Cleef & Arpels’ signature double beaded contour. On the necklace, three butterflies appear along the chain, alternately seen in profile and head-on, as if fluttering gently through a spring garden.

The Between the Finger ring captures a charming tête-à-tête between a plum blossom, a lily-of-the-valley bud, and an open-winged butterfly poised for flight. Carefully arranged at varying levels, the motifs create volume and movement, their golden outlines gleaming like the first rays of spring sunshine.

Completing the story is the enchanting Lady Lucky Spring Butterfly watch from the Maison’s Poetic Complications collection. Within its dial of guilloché and painted mother-of-pearl, a butterfly travels across a floral landscape with the passing minutes, returning to its starting point each hour. Animated by a mechanical movement and illuminated by diamonds, the timepiece transforms time itself into a delicate springtime ballet.
