Maria Grazia Chiuri presents her first Cruise 2027 collection for FENDI, defining it as both a declaration of intent and the continuation of an evolving creative project. Reaffirming her identity as an Italian designer, Chiuri focuses on craftsmanship, material quality, and the search for form, while seeking to clarify the foundations of the modern FENDI wardrobe.

Designed for both men and women, the collection explores fashion as a tool for awareness and self-expression. Chiuri reinterprets the idea of “bourgeoisie” as an inclusive concept that brings together generations, identities, desires and ways of living. Men and women share interchangeable pieces, including shirt-and-trouser combinations conceived as modular uniforms to be adapted according to individual needs.

Material experimentation is central to the collection. Parchment, a signature FENDI material, appears alongside studded black leather in a reimagined Baguette bag and throughout the clothing. Contrasts between matte and shiny surfaces, leather and georgette, fur and tailoring redefine wardrobe staples such as trench coats, jackets and dresses.

The collection’s symbolic motif, the Tree of Life, reflects Chiuri’s motto: “Less I, more us.”
