Jonathan Anderson has reinterpreted Dior’s iconic Medallion Chair, a lasting symbol of French refinement inspired by the Louis XVI style. The chair has been part of the House’s heritage since the opening of Dior’s very first boutique, Colifichets.

The new interpretation is presented in two distinct versions. One is upholstered in elegant moiré fabric available in refined shades, while the other features embroidery with the Romantic Flower motif, creating a soft, bucolic mood enhanced by delicate floral details.

Crafted from beech wood carved in the Vosges mountains, the Medallion Chair reflects the exceptional craftsmanship that continues to define Dior’s creations. Through this reinterpretation, Jonathan Anderson pays tribute to one of the House’s most recognizable design icons while preserving its timeless elegance and artisanal heritage.
