Originally introduced on the Valentino Fall/Winter 2016-17 runway, the Valentino Garavani Rockstud Spike returns for the Valentino Interferenze Fall/Winter 2026-27 collection, reimagined by Creative Director Alessandro Michele.

The new design features an elongated horizontal silhouette while retaining its signature hardware, adjustable chain strap and turn-lock closure. Crafted in supple goatskin leather or suede, it comes in black, warm grey, burnt orange and ochre, with platinum-finish studs applied by hand.

Two new interpretations highlight the Maison’s heritage. The first, in black nappa leather, combines floral and butterfly embroideries with the signature nine-dot motif. The second uses glossy precious leather and contrasting rhombus-shaped panels to create a harlequin-inspired patchwork with zigzag stitching.

The new Rockstud Spike will be available from early September 2026 in Valentino boutiques worldwide and on Valentino.com. A small teal green suede version will launch additionally exclusively online from early October.
