Anthony Vaccarello chose a truly spectacular setting for his Saint Laurent show in Paris last night. His open catwalk nestled at the foot of the Eiffel Tower which was illuminated with its sparkling golden lights beneath the night sky. It was a setting that perfectly matched the themes of the show from dark baroque moods to sparkly embellished boho with an edge. The Saint Laurent girl will be wearing her shorts every which way next season, from red leather to black suede, to colored printed brocade playsuits. Tops and jackets billowed out in exaggerated poufs in leathers or feathers. Cobalt blue feathered knee high boots and slouchy black or green suede boots are the new hot ticket accessory item for next season. Kaia Gerber modelled a new take on the little black dress: a strapless mini with an oversized sequin puff skirt.
