Only Karl Lagerfeld can turn the Grand Palais into the French countryside’s Verdon Gorge complete with a waterfall cascading down a rock into a green watered moat surrounded by a catwalk that is a wooden footpath for Chanel’s spring/summer show. And if you’re going to take a spring stroll through the French countryside, then make sure you’re wearing the new take on the signature Chanel straw boater - a clear PVC version complete with a black ribbon and matching knee-high block heeled boots. In a show aimed at the emerging millennial power force, Kaia Gerber modelled a white denim mini skirt with shredded rainbow colored tweed embellishment and matching cropped tweed top. Rainwear consisted of lilac colored glittery tweeds and clear cropped rain macs that gave a tropical rainforest flavor to the pretty pink pastel full skirted midi dress, and ruffled black and white blouses, and flirty dresses
