They really do! Designers have re-introduced the nineties’ favorite hoop earrings, reminding us yet again that vintage is truly gold – sometimes even, literally. So why do we love hoop earrings? Well aside from the fact that they were quite the stunners some 20 years ago, there has been visual and dare we say, magical proof that they add a little je ne sais quoi to your look.

There have been many versions of said hoop earrings on the Fall/Winter 2017-2018 runways – think Céline, Fendi, Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs and Isabel Marant amongst others; some reinterpreted the age-old thin style into thick ones, while others added embellishments such as pearls, or sometimes even double-hoops. Some were cute and tiny, while others were oversized and imposing. Some were colored, and others were gold and silver-plated. But they all had one grand thing in common: they were to-die-for.

But that’s not even the best part of the whole hoop-equation; we’ve spotted our favorite stars pulling them off like true queens. Think Rihanna, Zendaya and the beautiful Emily Ratajkowski shining in dreamy round-shaped earrings. Think fashion endorsers invading the streets in these statement accessories. So whether you’d rather wear colossal hoop earrings or small ones, you’re surely going to ignite all the attention while wearing them – thank you nineties’ pop culture!

So now that we’ve established that the hoop-ier, the better, all is left for you to do is pick your favorite model in the Photo Gallery below!
