Since Jonathan Anderson took over as artistic director of the iconic Spanish label Loewe, he has designed new takes on the brand’s classic Amazona and Flamenco bags. His latest undertaking, however, is a whole new bag, the first fully designed by the designer and sure to be Loewe’s newest It bag.
 
In true Anderson form, the Puzzle is innovative is shape and design. The cuboid structure is incredibly soft and completely collapsible. Handmade and composed of over forty pieces geometric fragments of leather, the bag’s unique form and construction is instantly recognizable. 
 
The designer explains the irregular, minimal and complex design; “I set out to find a new way of building a bag, fundamentally questioning its structure. It was about deconstructing a conventional bag to create a flat object with a tridimensional function.”
 
The new Puzzle bag is now available worldwide in two sizes and a variety of colors and leathers such as Oro suede, coral calf and chocolate crocodile.
