The most sparkly time of year is finally upon us! That's right, we are now fast approaching one of our most favorite times of the year. My favorite thing about this time of year is the inspiration all around. Now is the time to pull out those rich frosts, metallics and sparkle. How intense you want your look to be is entirely up to you. Looks can range from a soft frosty iridescence to an intense rich. 

Keep these tips in mind:

Face: highlight your features with an iridescent powder. I love the options available at Becca Cosmetics. A beautiful finish with a gorgeous sheen (more on the intense side.)
Another option would be to use a powder with a dash of sparkle. Apply on the high plains of your face. 

Cheeks: I love intense color this time of year. I steer away from all things bronze and earthy and lean more towards reds, pinks and rich plums! Especially in the cold, a rich cheek tint adds richness to your complexion making it look bright and healthy. I love benetint by Benefit Cosmetics. 

Eyes: I like to keep it soft and playful with a dash of glitter which is of course optional.
I love pretty much all things festive like metallic whites, silvers, and golds. False lashes are optional depending on your preference.

Lips: With this feature, play as you please. You can go from anything from a pale frosty pink to a more intense velvet like deep berry and beyond. 

Texture is everything with this look. I love a bit of frost and a bit of velvet, as both work and both are simply dazzling!
