There’s always a thing or two we can learn from the runways. First, that fashion is art and hence mixing-and-matching colors and patterns is a designer’s must. Second, the bigger the accessories and bijoux, the better. Third, either you’re a minimalist at heart or a maximalist. So which one are you?

First, let us pinpoint the obvious; a minimalist wardrobe shouldn’t be confused with the word “boring”. It is actually a movement enriched with streamlined silhouettes – think structured suits, pared-down attires, and shaped outfits. On the other hand, a maximalist wardrobe is one that boasts extravagance, be it in the cuts, the prints, the fabrics or of course, the accessories. And hence, if you belong to the maximalist clan, you’re probably already searching for some bold accessories to spruce up your look.

Fortunately, the Spring 18 runways were chockfull of all-things extra, from extra-long earrings, to extra-thick necklaces and extra-present cuffs. To help you out, we’ve scoured the best runway inspirations in the Photo Gallery below, alongside a series of must-have accoutrements to seal the deal.
