In an effort to men the bridge between fashion and social responsibilities, Balenciaga has partnered with the World Food Programme, supporting its mission of ending hunger by 2030. And so, Demna Gvasalia’ s Fall/Winter 2018-2019 collection for the House will be engaging customers in participating in a good cause by paying the products.

And so, the designer sent out models wearing quilted anoraks layered over oversized knits and checkered midi skirts. Almost all the looks had fluorescent trimmings hanging from them, instilling the wintery palette with a more flashy feel. Gvasalia’s art of layering was ever so present and models were depicted harboring one too many pieces, creating a stylish rhythm.

There were also a slew of pieces with the symbol of the World Food Program on them that were fashionably layered on top of skirts. The coats and anoraks were oversized and bulky, but never too exaggerated.

For eveningwear, Gvasalia conjured a more elegant vibe found in bodycon dresses and chic stilettos.
