There is nothing demure and sugary sweet about the Miu Miu girls brigade we have come to know and love. From Dakota Fanning, who made a directorial debut with her Miu Miu’s Women’s Tales, to her sister Elle Fanning who opened and closed the show today in Paris wearing an oversized mannish tan coat, black pixie boots and a jaunty blue neck tie. The show had a larger than life punk rock feel to it, from the stone washed denim and double belt details to the exaggerated colored houndstooth bomber jackets and oversized neon print floral dresses.  Sky high beehives and wild cat eye flicks complemented the look of the coolest girl brigade in town. Above the catwalk and guests, including designer Marc Jacobs, hung an installation of black and white signs and symbols; Miu Miu’s new alphabet or “A language of Actions and Behaviour and Comportment.”
