Opulence and sultriness are two of Elie Saab’s most cherished combinations, and opulence and sultry it was during his Fall/Winter 2018-2019 Couture show.

The Lebanese designer brought a navy-colored appeal to his collection, sending out models in navy ensembles, navy capes and navy everything! The styles were beautifully different this time around; we saw a bodice that morphed into a tuxedo being lavishly paired with a matching tulle skirt, while patterned dresses were topped off with shouldered jackets. Draped voile dresses were enhanced with decadent colors and fabrics seemed to blend with one another in style and flair. One dress in particular was a showstopper, enticing show-goers with its burgundy ruffles.

The collection soon became more colorful, as a fury of pink and bordeaux gowns made a lasting impression – think high-slit crepe dresses and chiffon gowns that glowed with perfection.
