The annual watch show taking place in Geneva, Switzerland has featured many luxury brands. And so, the second day of the Swiss Salon continued with German manufacturer of luxury and prestige watches, A. Lange & Söhne. Indeed, the German brand celebrated 25 years of its debut watch launch and there couldn’t be a better time to revel in the brand’s glory than during the Swiss fair.
There were many novelties introduced at the SIHH 2019, all of which truly attested to the luxury brand’s knack for technical excellence, innovation and creativity in the world of watchmaking. One of the timepieces unveiled was the Langematik Perpetual Honeygold, a limited edition watch in an exclusive material. But what makes it so special? It displays the correct date every day until the year 2100, is only made in a limited number of 100 watches and is particularly hard and robust, complementing the lasting validity of the perpetual calendar. Another novelty was the Richard Lange Jumping Seconds, making a strong statement with its white-gold case, black dial and minimalistic red color accents that emphasize the scientific-technical design of the timepiece.
