Ever notice how bad your feet get in the summer? The main reason is that we stop wearing boots with socks etc, and switch over to flip-flops. Yes, they are so easy to throw on whether it’s just around the house or to run a quick errand, but they are so bad for your soles. It’s basically like taking rubber and rubbing it against your feet. So instead, get yourself one of those terry cloth slippers. When you get out of the shower put on some cream and put those slippers on. By the time you get ready, your feet will soak up the lotion. Do this every time you shower and see what a difference it will make. It also helps to use a pumice stone in the shower daily as well. You can use any lotion, but a great one specifically for feet is the L’Occitane foot cream. With its soft lavender scent and nourishing shea butter, it’s like giving your feet a hug after a long day. A little foot massage is also great for blood flow.
