Bulgari's Elaborate Novelties Come Alive at Baselworld 2015

For over 130 years, Bulgari has been a symbol of Italian expertise, most notably in the field of watchmaking. Honoring its rich history with modern designs, the luxury Italian brand’s creations are immediately recognizable thanks to their linearity, volume and sophisticated grandeur. Bulgari integrates ancient Roman symbols in their modern designs that speak to the future and this year was no exception.


For its 40th anniversary, Bulgari created 100-numbered limited-edtion pieces of Bulgari Roma Finissimo watch in yellow-gold. The steel version of the watch features a polished black-lacquered dial on a black alligator strap, a BVL 128 calibre, an extra-flat self-wound mechanical movement. It is visible on the back through a sapphire crystal case back.




Bulgari Roma Tubogas watch features a 26mm steel case and an 18-carat pink gold bezel engraved with BVLGARI ROMA. Its crown is made of 18-carat pink gold and its dial comes in brown with sunray effect and is set with 12 diamond hour markers. The timepiece also includes a quartz movement and a bracelet made of 18-carat pink gold and steel.




As a reflection of modern technology, Diagono Magnesium watch features a 41mm-diameter steel case, a case middle in magnesium, a ceramic bezel engraved with double Bulgari logo and a mechanical self-winding movement. The color of its dial matches the case middle that comes in anthracite, brown, silver or blue. 




Embodying the founding jewelry codes of the house, the Diva watch is inspired by the "dolce vita" era, where Bulgari was an essential part in the world of movies. The watch comes in the shape of a flower set with 302 baguette-cut, 16 round-cut and 394 brilliant-cut diamonds.




The LVCEA watch features a 33mm-diameter case set with 43 brilliant-cut diamonds, an 18-carat pink-gold crown set with a pink stone and a diamond, a silver satiné soleil dial set with 11 diamonds, a bordeaux alligator strap and a mechanical self-winding movement. It also comes in a version that features a white-gold case and blue-sapphire alligator strap. 




Highlighting the art of jewelry-making, this LVCEA timepiece features a 33mm-diameter case made of 18-carat white gold and set with 43 brilliant-cut diamonds, an 18-carat white-gold crown set with a pink stone and a diamond, as well as a dial fully set with diamonds. Its white-gold bracelet is set with 117 diamonds. The watch also includes a mechanical self-winding movement.




Brought to life through fine workmanship, the beauty of simplicity is honored in this LVCEA watch which includes a 36mm-diameter steel case and an 18-carat pink-gold crown set with a pink stone and a diamond. Its silver opaline dial is guilloché and features the Roman numbers “XII” and “VI”. In addition to its steel and 18-carat pink-gold bracelet, the timepiece features a mechanical self-winding movement.




In the shape of winding serpent, the Serpenti watch features a pink-gold curved case set with 6 brilliant-cut diamonds , a black-lacquered dial set with 33 diamonds, a one-row pink-gold bracelet set with 96 diamonds and a Swiss quartz movement.




Also made of pink gold, this enchanting Serpenti watch features a red-lacquered dial set with 33 diamonds, a one-row pink-gold bracelet set with 96 diamonds and coated with red lacquer, as well as a Swiss quartz movement.




With a pink mother-of-pearl dial, this Serpenti watch comes in diamond-set pink gold. Its curved case is ornamented with 6 diamonds and its one-row pink-gold bracelet is set with 168 diamonds.




Giving jewelry watches new meaning, this white-gold Serpenti watch comes with a dial fully set with 144 pavé diamonds and a one-row bracelet set with 168 diamonds. The watch also features a Swiss quartz movement.
