Chanel announced the opening of their first Watches & Fine Jewelry boutique in Qatar. Located in Doha Lagoona Mall, Darwish Mall's newest luxury retail avenue, the sophisticated space is an ideal nesting spot for the Chanel boutique.
The new boutique is designed by New York-based architect Peter Marino and perfectly reflects Parisian elegance and timeless modernity reminiscent of Chanel’s history. Inspired by the places where Gabrielle Chanel lived – most notably the town house at 29 Faubourg Saint-Honoré and her apartment at the Rue Cambon – the design takes over a space of 150 square meters.
As clients enter the boutique, they can discover the watch area on the right side which features the house’s full collection of timepieces, in addition to their latest novelties such as J12-365, J12-G.10 and Première Rock. Dedicated to fine jewelry, the left side of the boutique is decorated with Venetian Rococo carved gilt-wood and gilt gesso mirrors reminiscent of the 18th century. Along with a stunning collection of fine jewelry and high jewelry pieces, the area features exceptional creations from ‘Sous le Signe du Lion’ collection inspired by the animal that held a special place in the life of the house’s founder.
With its warm décor, the VIP Saloon room features a sofa and a polished bronze coffee table created by French-Swedish furniture designer Ingrid Donat. Facing an 18th century Louis XV-style fireplace are two carved Louis XV armchairs upholstered in beige suede, allowing clients to enjoy Chanel’s VIP services.
In such a modern, bright and sophisticated atmosphere, Chanel celebrates the house’s sense of creativity and craftsmanship, making shopping a luxurious and refined experience.
