Black liner is pretty much the staple in every Middle Eastern woman’s makeup bag. So it only makes sense that Huda Beauty created her own liner called “Life Liner.” She basically couldn’t find a liner that met all her needs so she created her own!
After using it once I realized why this is called “Life Liner”; it’s basically the eyeliner you will use for the rest of your life. Just like a trustworthy reliable friend, this liner is there for you, for all your liner needs! First off, it’s super matte and super black. It’s waterproof, long lasting and smudge proof which is all we really want in a liner. It doesn’t fade and stays super black.
What really makes this eyeliner stand out is the fact that it’s like two eyeliners in one: the shape of the bottle is like a diamond but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it has two sides. I assumed this was just a liquid liner, but it actually has a pencil side as well and I love how this makes lining your eyes so simple.
I truly believe that when you have the right tools, whether it’s hair or makeup it makes such a difference in your final result. I love that Huda is so relatable and just like us is not an expert in making her eyeliner perfect. She advised us to “not breathe” and draw a liquid line using a post it and then go over it with the pencil. I was shocked to see how easily I was able to get the perfect cat eye liner.
Once in a while a product comes along that is life changing (in the beauty world at least) and this is definitely one of them.
