Perfect arm candy for glam dinners, parties and cocktails, these bejeweled luxury clutches are a must-have in your accessory arsenal.

A global favorite, award-winning Brazilian jeweler Silvia Furmanovich was inspired by the opportunity to show the beautiful marquetry work on a larger surface. She thus launched her marquetry clutches in April 2016. Featuring amethyst, blue topaz, fire opal, pearls and citrines on the clasp, her butterfly wing inspired exquisite clutches are currently the best sellers. Silvia also does bespoke pieces upon request.

London-based Eva Lobo gave up her successful career in finance to launch her own luxury accessory label – Eva Lobo London – a few months ago. The debut line of Beauty and the Beast clutch bags is currently available in Limited Edition, Timeless and Heritage.

Crafted from ethically sourced exotic skin in Florence, the metal frames are all gilded in 24k gold and clasps are set with semi-precious stones – London blue rhodolite, amethyst, smoky quartz and white topaz. The new SS17 collection in non-exotic skin, featuring more colorways and stones, will be available for pre-order in March.

The ancient Greek nymph Kleodora became a muse for Peru-based Luis Alberto Quispe Aparicio. Drawing upon his skills as a master gem cutter, Luis Alberto carves honeycomb hexagons of Tanzanian ruby, B.C. Nephrite Jade, Lapis Lazuli from Afghanistan, Brazilian Amethyst and Peruvian Rock Crystal and sets them into the metal frame, finally adorning the Queen Bee clutches with diamonds, sapphires, rubies and emeralds.

Italian jeweler Mauro Felter’s gorgeous designs served as the springboard for inspiration, when he decided to launch his one-of-a-kind luxury clutches last summer. Handmade in Italy from fine leather – crafted by skilled artisans in Florence – the closures and clasps are designed and embellished by Mauro himself. His Borsa Oro clutch (see gallery) features gold hued soft leather, and mandarin garnets and diamonds on the closure. Mauro crafts bespoke clasps in 9k, 14, 18k, or 24k gold plated on bronze.
