Commemorating its 185th anniversary, Baume & Mercier reopened its newly renovated boutique at the Dubai Mall to host two different events. The day began with a ribbon cutting ceremony at the boutique that was attended by select media and ended with a cocktail in the evening held at the Dubai Mall VIP lounge for the house’s VIP guests.
“It gives us great pleasure to celebrate with Baume & Mercier this special moment of 185 years of watchmaking and namely the re-opening of our flagship Baume & Mercier boutique in The Dubai Mall” expressed Mr. Mohammad Seddiqi, Chief Operations Officer at Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, Baume & Mercier’s long-lasting partner in the UAE.
After escorting the media for a glimpse of the boutique that was still closed with ribbons, the brand’s International Sales Director, Maxime Ferte, took the stage and announced the reopening. In the evening, VIP guests were offered the opportunity to discover Baume & Mercier’s special 185 years exhibition and take a glimpse at historic timepieces from the 1880s to the early 2000s.
“On the occasion of the 185 years anniversary of Baume & Mercier and of our long lasting partnership with Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, we wanted to mark this date by celebrating the re-opening of our flagship boutique in The Dubai Mall; a moment that combines heritage in watchmaking and celebration under one theme,” said Ferte during the cocktail.
A mixture of comfort, elegance and warmth, the boutique was renovated to reflect not only the house’s values but authenticity and continuity as well. Natural materials and soft colors set the tone to a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Customers are given the opportunity to dive into the world of Baume & Mercier and discover the brand’s signature collections and novelties during their pleasant visit to the boutique.
