Being a true advocate of the casual-chic trend, Michael Kors has once again successfully put his designs on a mesmerizing pedestal. Only this time, he stole the androgynous masculine side of fashion and carefully stitched it to a much romantic and delicate pattern. Here’s the secret to his Transeason lookbook.

Using a mix-and-match love story to complete his collection, the American designer introduced delicacy to his usual sportswear. As such, the collection features pleated dresses and skirts harboring a romantic flowery pattern, slip dresses adorned with transparent lace and tailored suits and trousers. You will notice that most of the designs ranging from dresses to skirts and coats show a unique floral pattern. Other items showcase feather embellishments and vivid diamond embroideries. All the designs seem somewhat flowy, what with the flared pants, the wide maxi dresses and the pleated skirts.

What’s even more striking is the leggy sheerness on skirts and dresses that add a little bit of a “femme fatale” feel to the designs. The collection features all the classic colors; a palette of black, white, grey, baby pink, olive green, blush and nude.

The accessories are no exception to the feminine tomboy motto; they feature the stiletto mules and pumps, the sport sandals and the top-handle bags. Some might see it as a chic addition to a somewhat classical collection, because let’s be honest here, you can never go wrong with pumps!

Make way for a most contradictory muse that has spawned a defiant collection away from the mainstream and given the fashion scene a much needed romantic tomboy outlook.
