The Madrid-based Carrera Y Carrera’s latest extension to its line of striking pieces sees the jeweler drawing upon vitality, energy and strength and imbuing it in its Savia collection comprising rings, necklaces, earrings, bracelet and drop earrings.

It is all about the love for gold at Carrera Y Carrera, as the Savia collection embraces smoky quartz, yellow and white gold and diamonds, featuring figurative interpretations of motifs from nature.

The necklace has two tiny, symmetrical squirrels caressing each other in a warm embrace. The emotion evokes everlasting love, while the ring featuring a squirrel grabbing the tip of the tail is a nod to infinity. Black diamonds set to form the eyes of the squirrel seem to bring it alive, and on its tail and ears is a smoky quartz balanced well. Meticulously carved sculptural details turn these pieces into a work of art.

Another ring worth a look is the Moi & Toi [You and Me], crafted in yellow and white gold with its shank evoking the fine details of a branch. Bearing two pineapples as the key motif, the ring pitches the white gold against the yellow to show contrast.
